Polish Visual Meteor Database

POLISH VISUAL METEOR DATABASE

Visual observations of meteors made by Comets and Meteors Workshop members are stored in PVMDB. Here you will find observations from years 1996-2007. This is an uniq set of 84 456 meteors coordinates observed during 25583.76 hours. Data can be analyzed using Radiant software or a self-written applications. Please refer our two papers about PVMDB if you include our data in your scientific investigations:

THE DATA

• 1996-2007 plotted observations in PVMDB format(18.07.2008)
• 1996-2007 plotted observations in DBF format(18.07.2008)

HELP WITH DATA

We do need help to maintain our electronic database. Plotted observations are converted to text files through user friendly Corrida software (Windows/Linux). Now (august 2008) we need hands to help us with 2008 data.
